Graphic Design - Task 5

I used photocopies of my previous collages to create larger collages which would then be used somehow for my final pieces of work. I really liked using the imagry of these old fashioned gate posts. They reminded me of prison bars, which i could refer back to detached as i wrote on my spider diagram that someone could be deatched from the world by being in prison (behind bars).

Adding strips of colour betweent the black bars/fencing contrasted with them and made them more obvious.



The main thing i liked about this collage was the imagry/patterning from the magazine. I cut out shapes and then found the way i layed them out i could relate to the word slither. This is because the shapes look like a continuous curvy line, something i relate to the word slither.
