Graphic Design - Artist Research - Pep Carrio
Pep Carrió, a Spanish graphic designer, began to work on these diaries in 2007 as a project to create an image every day. Carrió says that his books are “a portable laboratory, where I can work with difference ideas and found images.” This gave me the impression that his work is very illustrative as they are more drawings rather than typography.
However, i really like the idea of the diaries as i have done something similar before in different projects.
This one piece i found interested me for the combination of image and text. I lke how the book merges into the letter M.
