Graphic Design - Final Pieces

For my final pieces i used photoshop to scan my collages in and added text to them.

^Detached.

I like the imagery used within this piece as the bars represent being trapped (detached from people or the rest of the world) possibly in a prison.

^Rapid.

I like how the imagery really fits in as it looks very confusing and 'rapid'.

^Slither.

The text on this i particularly like as the font is slanted and looks as though it could be 'slithering' across the imagery/background.

^Stability.

I inverted the colours on this so the blacks were white and vice versa. The capital writing stands out and emphasizes the word and meaning behind it.

I really enjoyed the Graphic Design project and all the tasks involved. It is a project i would highly consider specialising in although it was totally new to me but i believe i produced a good amount of work from the brief and it is something i would really like to learn more about. It was interesting to use new methods such as Photoshop as i have only used it probably once before this project. I discovered that i can make a piece of work really quickly by collaging and then photocopying it to then work back in to it, this is something i could use within other projects too.
