Fashion - Task 2
The second task was to create another shape from the previous shapes i created onto tracing paper. This was then used to pin on to a mannequin to suggest possible garment ideas. The first idea i thought of was to attach it to the shoulder as it worked well for a shoulder piece by fitting nicely on the mannqeuin.
I found that my shape fit better on the half sized mannequins as the shape itself was quite small. If i was to enlarge it, it would obviously fit a larger mannqeuin better.
I like how this piece suggests a sleeved garment as the slits on either side seperate each part, making it look like there are two sleeves and a body part.
