Week 5 - Chosen Article

My chosen article is about Ale Paul (Alejandro Paul) which i found in the graphic design eye magazine. The magazine itself was something i found interesting to look at. I chose the article initially for the images used which were of typography in what i would explain to be fancy writing/text. Ale Paul is one of the founders of the Studipos project, the first Argentinean type foundry collective. With the founding of Sudtipos in 2002, Ale shifted his efforts to typeface design, creating fonts and lettering for several top packaging agencies, along with commercial faces.

As well as the font which i really like, the colours used are something i think work well together. The same colours are used throughout the article which make it nice and simple and not give it too much. They are quite contrasting colours (black and yellows) which make the writing very clear and noticable.
